medico international e.V. (medico) invites all eligible and qualified financial services providers to

participate and respond to a tender for the “Provision of Money Transfer Services” for Syria and Iraq.

Founded in 1968 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, medico, a politically independent and non-

denominational non-profit organisation, works in solidarity with partner organisations and movements

in the Global South to create social conditions that enable people to live in dignity and justice, free from

poverty and in the best possible health.

For several years, medico has been supporting local organisations in Syria and Iraq who are active in the

fields of humanitarian assistance and human rights. This requires the provision of money transfer /

Hawala services in order to transfer funds from Germany to our partners in different places in Syria and

Iraq.
