1.     Coordination:

·       Serve as the primary focal point for the coordination of two projects in Raqqa, ensuring alignment with WVI’s strategic objectives and donor requirements.

·       Liaise with internal departments, including Finance, GAM, MEAL, SCM, Communications, Technical Teams, Field Operations, and others, to ensure smooth and integrated project implementation.

·       Maintain close coordination with partners, local authorities, UN agencies, working groups, and other humanitarian actors to enhance synergies, promote complementarity, and avoid duplication of efforts.

·       Facilitate bi‑weekly coordination meetings with partners and project staff to review progress, address operational challenges, and plan upcoming activities.

2.     Implementation and Follow-Up:

·       Ensure that each project has a well‑designed Project Information Management System (PMIS) dashboard that captures all project aspects, and use the system to plan, track, and report on progress.

·       Oversee the day‑to‑day implementation of project activities across multiple sectors, ensuring activities are delivered in line with workplans, timelines, and sectoral standards.

·       Manage both direct WVI interventions and partner‑led activities, ensuring quality standards and compliance with donor and organizational policies.

·       Liaise with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of project inputs and supplies.

·       Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, provide technical guidance, and verify that activities remain responsive to community needs and context.

·       Identify implementation challenges and work with relevant teams to develop practical solutions and mitigation measures.

·       Support community engagement and beneficiary selection processes, ensuring they are carried out in line with agreed criteria and uphold principles of transparency and accountability.

3.     Reporting and Documentation

·       Ensure timely and accurate submission of narrative and financial reports in line with donor requirements as per the MoU and WVI standards.

·       Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including activity reports, PMIS updates, meeting minutes, incident reports, and other relevant records.

·       Support the development and periodic update of project work plans/PIP, procurement plans, budget plans, and logical frameworks.

·       Support data collection and documentation of lessons learned and challenges in collaboration with the MEAL team.

·       Work with the Communications team to document success stories and best practices to inform future programming and contribute to organizational learning.

·       Contribute to internal and donor reports as required, ensuring accuracy and consistency in coordination with NES AM, MEAL, Finance, Communications, GAM and other.

4.     Additional Responsibilities

·       Support the NES Area Manager in proposal development and resource mobilization efforts.

·       Contribute to the development of capacity building plans for project staff and partners.

·       Represent WVI in relevant coordination forums, working groups,  local authorities, communities, donor meetings as required, and other stakeholders as needed.

·       Participate in internal planning and meetings and review sessions with the NES team.

·       Ensure safeguarding, Do No Harm, and inclusion principles are applied throughout the project

·       Perform any other duties as assigned by the NES Area Manager, consistent with the scope of the role.
