Identification and Monitoring of Protection Risks and Concernso Conduct regular protection monitoring, including spot checks, safety audits, and focus group discussions with site residents, particularly vulnerable groups, to identify protection needs and gaps.o Monitor protection issues and provide feedback to partners based on findings.o Analyze protection risks and identify spheres of action for targeted interventions in coordination with the Senior CBP Officer and CCCM Program manager.o Ensure monitoring of protection mainstreaming in services delivered, such as distributions and community mobilization activities.
2. Identification and Support to Vulnerable Site Residentso Identify individuals with special needs during registration and door-to-door visits, in coordination with the CCCM IM unit and related protection partners.o Provide information on available services to vulnerable households and individuals and refer them to other stakeholders as needed.o Ensure inclusivity in committees to represent the needs of marginalized and vulnerable groups.
3. Community Engagement and Communication with Communities (CwC)o Manage CwC activities, including awareness messaging, campaigns, feedback sessions, and public information dissemination.o Actively engage communities in CwC activities such as block-to-block messaging, focus group discussions, and campaigns.o Organize campaigns, awareness sessions, and trainings tailored to the community's needs.
4. Governance Structure Establishment and Capacity Buildingo Support the establishment of site governance structures, ensuring the inclusion of vulnerable groups (e.g., women, youth, and minorities).o Develop and review codes of conduct and terms of reference (ToRs) for governance structures.o Provide training to governance structures on topics such as humanitarian principles, SPHERE standards, and protection-related topics.o Facilitate community-led events and support the participation of diverse population groups in governance and community activities

Initiatives, Awareness Campaigns, Vocational Training, and Recreational Activitieso Plan, conduct, and supervise initiatives that address identified community needs, including awareness campaigns on protection, health, and safety.o Supervise vocational training to build the capacity of residents and improve livelihood opportunities.o Facilitate and oversee recreational activities to promote psychosocial well-being and community cohesion, ensuring inclusivity and representation of all groups.o Collaborate with community members, governance structures, and external stakeholders to implement these initiatives effectively
.6. Protection Referral Pathways and Service Mappingo Develop and maintain effective protection referral pathways and ensure they are communicated to partners, site governance structures, and residents.o Maintain a database of protection incidents and ensure data confidentiality.o Inform stakeholders about service gaps during coordination meetings and support the identification of additional protection services.
7. Incident Management and Fire Safetyo Support the establishment of fire safety points in the camp, including selecting and training firefighters.o Oversee the refilling of fire extinguishers and maintain trackers for fire incidents and safety campaigns.o Support awareness campaigns on fire safety and ensure follow-up on fire incidents in the camp.
8. Health and Incident Follow-Upo Coordinate with health partners and follow up on pandemic updates.o Address camp incidents promptly and provide support to ensure timely resolution.
9. Supervision of Outreach Workerso Supervise and manage CCCM outreach workers, including attendance, capacity building, and training in coordination with the camp manager and Senior CBP Officer
10. External Coordinationo Liaise with partners, service providers, and camp committees on protection and community mobilization issues.o Represent the organization in camp coordination and external meetings as required.
11. Reportingo Prepare and submit timely reports on protection and CwC activities, including analysis of FGDs, initiative outcomes, and incident trackers.o Provide ad hoc reports to the CCCM PM or Senior CBP Officer as needed.
12. Protection Mainstreamingo Ensure that all activities consider gender, GBV, and protection concerns.o Promote the participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups in all aspects of camp activities.o Adhere to and promote principles of the prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).o Refer protection cases to the Protection partners or relevant actore

Required:
o Bachelor’s degree or higher
o At least three-years’ experience working in an international/local NGO.
o At least 2-years’ experience working in the field of protection with an international/local NGO.
o At least one-year recent managerial experience, including supervising staff, leading meetings.
o Good experience in writing reports in English and Arabic.
o Proficient skills with the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. particularly in Outlook, PowerPoint and Word);
o Intermediate level of English (i.e. spoken and written);
o Does not reside in the camp;
Desired:
o Excellent level of English (written and spoken)
o Master’s degree or higher in related field.
o Certificate/Training in Protection related topics (etc, General Protection, GBV,protection mainstreaming…).
o Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Sociology or related field.
