Conduct normal deliveries at the health facility.
• Providing prenatal and postnatal consultations with prescribing the necessary medications.
• Provide a professional gynecological examination.
• Providing comprehensive family planning service (contraception)
• Prescribe the necessary medicines for obstetric and gynecological problems and consult a doctor when necessary.
• Refer patients when treatment at the health center is not possible.
• Collaborate with medical program managers/supervisors related to their activities.
• Attend training courses and meetings as needed.
• Make sure daily that supplies, equipment and medicines are available.
• Participate in preparing the list of medicines and equipment required monthly
• Perform any other duties and tasks, as needed or required by the organization or health authority
• Provide health education, health promotion and counselling for women.
• She will be responsible for the quality of consultations.
• Perform test required and available.
• To fill tally sheets, Patient file, referral form and referral registration, AOB requested by NGO and Health Authority.
• Actively participate in and attend all educational activities within the center.
• Follow and practice infection control policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment within the confines of the clinic for clients, visitors and other staff.
Qualified Midwife with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Experiences in Normal deliveries and neonatal care preferred in health facilities.
• Clear understanding of gender inequality and gender issues for women and girls.
• Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, work overtime when necessary and be able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Fluent speaking and writing Arabic languages are required.
• Demonstrated ability and experience working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with experience in participating in emergency after hours call services.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for patients always is essential.
• Applicant should not be having another Job if he/she got selected.
• Registered in the Nurse and Midwifery Association in the region.
