The Information Management (IM) Officer mainly will be responsible for Beneficiary and Transfer Management System (BTMS) - Red Rose is responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of the Red Rose BTMS. The primary goal of this role is to ensure accurate and efficient data management for beneficiary registration, aid distribution, and reporting. The IM Officer will develop and maintain data systems, support field teams in distribution, redemption and analysis, and ensure the integrity and security of all data processed through the BTMS. By providing timely and actionable data insights, the IM Officer will support the organization in making informed decisions, enhancing program effectiveness, and demonstrating accountability to beneficiaries and donors.
System Implementation and Management:
Lead the deployment and management of the Red Rose BTMS for all relevant projects.
Configure and customize the system to meet specific program needs and ensure it aligns with organizational standards.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Data Management:
Receive the approval list and cleaned data for selected beneficiaries from IM officer/Assistant.
Work closely with IM officers/assistant in preparing distribution lists and checking vouchers. 
Upload data on the Red Rose platform. 
Following up the redemption process and support programme team with resolving technical issues regarding to Cash/vouchers distributions. 
Provide IM Manager with report after each round of distribution. 
Work closely with IM officers to update Database accordingly. 
Data Analysis and Reporting:  
Analyze data to generate meaningful insights and reports that inform program planning and decision-making.
Create regular and customized reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal stakeholders, donors, and partners.
Collaborate with the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) team to utilize data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
Coordination and Communication:
Work closely with program managers, MEAL teams, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless information flow and data integration.
Act as the primary point of contact for all issues and inquiries related to the Red Rose BTMS.
Participate in internal and external meetings, providing updates on data management activities and sharing insights.
Compliance and Data Protection: 
Ensure all data management activities comply with organizational policies, data protection laws, and ethical standards.
Implement data protection measures within the Red Rose BTMS to safeguard sensitive beneficiary information.
Stay updated on best practices and developments in data protection and information management.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement within the Red Rose BTMS and propose enhancements to optimize system efficiency and effectiveness.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in information management to continually enhance the organization's data capabilities.
Lead or participate in initiatives aimed at improving data quality, system usability, and overall data management processes.
Undertake other related duties assigned by the IM Manager:
Support all teams with any information management requests.
Support IM officers/Assistants in preparing 4/5Ws, monthly reports.. etc.
Carry out any tasks assigned by the IM Manager related to Information Management within the Programme
Programme Cycle Management:
Participate in the finalization of programme proposal documents, taking a lead on all programmes activities, including the global proposal, logical frameworks, results frameworks, implementation plans, monitoring and evaluation plans and budget and participate in reviews and revisions as necessary during the life cycle of the programme.
Prepare and implement programme activity plans that correspond to the approved donor proposals and budgets and update these on a timely basis.
Prepare regular narrative reports on programme activities for internal management purposes and for donors. 
Ensure all aspects of activities adhere to programme quality standards and policies (PM&E, accountability and mainstreaming) in a coherent and integrated manner.
Ensure that the activities are accurately reflected in the integrated M&E system, identifying activities to be monitored and data to be collected.

Capacity Building:  
Train staff, partners, and field teams on the effective use of the Red Rose BTMS, including data entry, data management, and system functionalities.
Develop comprehensive training materials and user manuals to support ongoing capacity building.
Provide continuous technical support and guidance to system users, fostering a thorough understanding of the system's capabilities and processes.
Other:
Ensure the highest stands of accountability through ensuring good communication and information sharing within and outside the organisation.
Be aware of, understand and comply with all of  policies and procedures (P4, finance, logistics, HR, security management etc).
Contribute to ongoing security management and planning as necessary.
Actively participate in any emergency response if called upon to do so (within the existing programme area or in a new one).

Essential
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronic. 
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information management, data analysis, or a similar role.
Previous experience in the humanitarian or development sector, particularly in data management roles.
Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc).
Strong understanding of database systems, data integration, and data migration processes.
Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools.
Fluency in English is required
Desirable
Master’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science.
Experience in managing data for cash-based interventions or other aid distribution programs.
