The PHCC Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the PHCC premises, staff, patients, and visitors. This includes monitoring access, maintaining order, and responding to security issues or emergencies.
Ensure the safety and security of the PHCC.
• Control access to the health center, ensuring smooth patient flow and crowd control, while ensuring no weapons are present within the premises.
• Alert and report any safety-related issues to the PHCC Administrator or LHA.
• Ensure fire extinguishers are always available and ready for use in case of emergencies.
• Ensure only authorized staff are working within the PHCC.
• Maintain cleanliness around the PHCC building.
• Assist in proper waste disposal.
• Assist in collecting waste and garbage.
• Ensure no flammable materials are stored near the PHCC that could cause a fire.
• Support manual tasks as needed (minor repairs to doors, electricity, and water systems).
• Report on any safety-related concerns to the manager.
• Ensure that visitors do not gather in unauthorized areas within the building, maintaining at least 1.5 meters of distance before entering consultation areas.
• Perform regular patrols inside and outside the building.
• Responsible for the generator (starting and stopping the generator, oil changes, cleaning), as well as refueling, monitoring fuel consumption, and tracking running hours.
• Switch to the public electrical grid when necessary.
• Carry out any other tasks as requested by the manager or supervising staff.
Minimum Secondary School Certificate.
• Previous Past experience working as a guard, or in a related position for at least Two years_ Preferred with NGO.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks (electricity, water).
• Ability to work in a humane and courteous manner with all visitors.
