About Aid Gate Organization "AGO"

Aid Gate Organization (AGO) is an independent, nonpartisan, national organization in Iraq whose history goes back to 2014 with the beginning of ISIL’s occupation in Iraq. At that time and throughout the mass conflicts occurring from 2014 onwards, ISIL groups took control of large swathes of the country, including Nineveh, Salah al-Din, Anbar, and parts of Diyala. This period witnessed an unprecedented wave of displacement for people who lived in these areas in addition to extreme human rights violations. With the Iraqi government, unable to provide much-needed, widespread assistance, many international organizations entered the country to facilitate a response. In doing so, local community members were actively recruited to assist in the movement and return of displaced people, while providing them with emergency life-saving assistance to meet their basic needs. Since 2014, AGO has been working untiringly to help Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), returnees, and vulnerable host communities for the implementation of whole-of-community resilience-building measures in Iraq. Today AGO is functional in Salah al-Din, Kirkuk, and the Nineveh governorates, with 50–150 employees, depending on the situation in the region. We are currently working on expanding our operations into the Anbar governorate as well as southern Iraq through proven programs to rebuild the lives of men, women, children, refugees IDPs, minorities, ethnic groups, and persons with disabilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

AGO is seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join our team in Northeast Syria. The Finance Assistant, in coordination with the Finance Officer, supports the Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial activities of AGO- North East Syria Office, in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Finance Assistant is responsible for handling petty cash and cashiering duties, preparing cheques and other payment documents, carrying out banking activities, maintaining financial records in an orderly manner, and assisting with other administrative and financial activities as needed.

منظمة بوابة العون (AGO) هي منظمة وطنية مستقلة غير حزبية في العراق يعود تاريخها إلى عام 2014 مع بداية احتلال داعش للعراق. في ذلك الوقت وخلال النزاعات الجماعية التي حدثت منذ عام 2014 وما بعده، سيطرت جماعات داعش على مساحات واسعة من البلاد، بما في ذلك نينوى وصلاح الدين والأنبار وأجزاء من ديالى. وقد شهدت هذه الفترة موجة نزوح غير مسبوقة لسكان هذه المناطق بالإضافة إلى انتهاكات جسيمة لحقوق الإنسان. ومع عدم قدرة الحكومة العراقية على تقديم المساعدات التي تشتد الحاجة إليها وعلى نطاق واسع، دخلت العديد من المنظمات الدولية إلى البلاد لتسهيل الاستجابة. وبذلك، تم تجنيد أفراد المجتمع المحلي بنشاط للمساعدة في حركة النازحين وعودتهم، مع تزويدهم بالمساعدة الطارئة المنقذة للحياة لتلبية احتياجاتهم الأساسية. ومنذ عام 2014، تعمل منظمة AGO دون كلل لمساعدة النازحين داخلياً والعائدين والمجتمعات المضيفة الضعيفة من أجل تنفيذ تدابير بناء القدرة على الصمود في العراق على مستوى المجتمع المحلي بأكمله. تعمل منظمة AGO اليوم في محافظات صلاح الدين وكركوك ونينوى، ويعمل فيها ما بين 50 و150 موظفاً حسب الوضع في المنطقة. ونعمل حالياً على توسيع نطاق عملياتنا في محافظة الأنبار وكذلك جنوب العراق من خلال برامج مثبتة لإعادة بناء حياة الرجال والنساء والأطفال واللاجئين النازحين داخلياً والأقليات والمجموعات العرقية والأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

الوصف الوظيفي

تبحث منظمة AGO عن مساعد مالي ماهر للانضمام إلى فريقنا في شمال شرق سوريا. يقوم المساعد المالي، بالتنسيق مع المسؤول المالي، بدعم مدير الشؤون المالية في ضمان حسن سير الأنشطة المالية اليومية لمكتب شمال شرق سوريا التابع للمنظمة العربية للتنمية الزراعية - شمال شرق سوريا، وفقاً للسياسات والإجراءات المعمول بها. ويتولى مساعد الشؤون المالية مسؤولية التعامل مع المصروفات النثرية ومهام الصرافة، وإعداد الشيكات ووثائق الدفع الأخرى، والقيام بالأنشطة المصرفية، وحفظ السجلات المالية بطريقة منظمة، والمساعدة في الأنشطة الإدارية والمالية الأخرى حسب الحاجة.
