World Vision Syria Response (WVSR) is seeking a professional Communications Consultant
based in Northeast Syria to provide high-quality photography, videography, storytelling,
and video editing services. The consultant will help capture and communicate the impact of
WVSR’s projects through compelling visual and written content, in line with World Vision’s
branding and ethical standards.
The consultant will be responsible for:
Producing high-quality photos, b-rolls, and edited videos that highlight project activities,
beneficiaries, and impact.
Conducting on-site filming and interviews in field locations (Deir Ez Zour, Hasakeh, Raqqa).
Writing success stories (500–600 words) in English, including accurate quotes, captions,
and visuals.
Delivering all outputs in both Arabic and English, optimized for use on social media,
websites, presentations, and donor reports.
Ensuring all visuals comply with World Vision’s branding and safeguarding guidelines.

Bi-monthly photo and video packages (minimum 20 edited photos and 10 b-roll clips per
1:30–2-minute edited videos featuring interviews, subtitles, and branding.
English-language success stories with photos and captions.
All raw footage and working files to be provided upon completion.
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in photography, videography, and video
editing—preferably within the humanitarian or development sector.
Proven ability to produce bilingual (Arabic-English) visual and written content.
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci
Resolve).Strong storytelling and interviewing skills; ability to engage with beneficiaries and staff
respectfully and ethically.
Own professional-grade equipment (camera, stabilizer, tripod, microphones, lighting, etc.).
Willingness and ability to travel to Deir Ez Zour, Hasakeh, and Raqqa governorates.
Familiarity with World Vision’s consent and safeguarding protocols is an advantage.
Other Details
The consultant will be responsible for covering their own transportation, accommodation,
and logistics.
Deliverables will be defined per assignment, based on field needs and WVSR’s
communication calendar.
