General Position Summary
The Water Station Casual labor will support the WASH team in the implementation of the rehabilitation of the water station works, RO water station and latrines rehabilitation
Essential Responsibilities (Example Section Below - Adapt to Specific Role)
• Monitoring the implementation activities in the absence of the WASH Assistant.
• Report challenges, issues, and progress updates to the WASH Assistant.
• Conduct regular field visits to work locations
• Support the operation of the water supply system during the trial period.

Mercy Corps CASUAL LABORS are expected to support all efforts toward accountability, specifically to our program participants, community partners, other stakeholders, and to international standards guiding international relief and development work. We are committed to actively engaging communities as equal partners in the design, monitoring and evaluation of our field projects.
• Basic experience in water supply systems, water stations, Civil works monitoring and RO facilities(operation, maintenance, or construction support).
• Ability to conduct fieldwork, including site visits to communities and water networks.
• Basic understanding of civil works
• Ability to follow technical instructions and report issues clearly to supervisors.
• Basic data collection and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physically able to work in field conditions.
• Diploma or vocational training in a related field (mechanical, electrical, civil, or water systems) is an asset but not mandatory.
