Collect and prepare patient samples for required laboratory tests, including blood samples.
• Prepare reagents, chemical solutions, and other materials before using them for laboratory analyzes as clinically indicated.
• Conduct laboratory tests according to the doctor’s request.
• Monitor and control patient samples that may be infectious and dispose of them in accordance with security and safety procedures.
• Prepare laboratory and documentation as required.
• Maintaining the highest infection prevention and control procedures in the laboratory and health facility to ensure the safety of the patient and staff.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and work-related records as recommended by the Health Officer.
• Updating databases daily and submitting weekly reports on time.
• As with the rest of the healthcare professionals, the laboratory technicians should expect to comply with the clinic's safety protocols, procedures and policies
Laboratory certificate from a college or laboratory technician from an intermediate medical institute
• Two years or more experience working in medical laboratories or working with governmental or non-governmental organizations (required).
• Professional and positive behavior, ability to organize, maintain balance, and prioritize work under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a team is essential
• Ability to communicate in the local language.
