Reporting to Asset Officer, The Asset Assistant -Incentive is responsible for, with cooperation of Asset officer, the efficient coordination and management of all assets and property equipment for all IRC’s office and sites in NESSyria. As a part of Supply Chain team in Raqqa she/he must be able to provideservices, whilst ensuring best practices and maintaining audit-compliant records. He/she will also assist the IT Officer and Program Officer in definingthe requested assets.
1 - Every quarter, the Asset Assistant Incentive shall support Asset Officer to prepare a list of assets bought during last quarter
And request financial report for asset codes to reconcile and ensure the assets were purchased under the grant
code in the asset records
2 - Update any identified need for recoding of assets T1. Shall a need for recoding is identified, the Asset Assistant-Incentive
shall coordinate with finance and grants team to ensure proper recoding is documented and the “5 SYR NES Asset
List” is updated accordingly.
3 -. Ensure that assets, property including ICT equipment, furniture, and office equipment are tracked, and are.
employed for legitimate purposes only.
4 - Develop and maintain Asset Registers, including acquisitions, maintenance management, and transfers.
5 - Manage secure storage of unassigned assets
6 – supporting Asset officer in Execute and monitor the implementation of the asset acquisition, maintenance and
disposal plans
7 - Advise the Asset officer/Supply Chain Manager of asset-specific issues or improvements
8 - Assist in start-up of new offices – assess asset and furniture needs, develop planning and budget. Document.
9 - Monitor and record the transfer of assigned equipment between Field Supervisors-
10 – support Asset officer to have Weekly inventory checks for assets with all Field Supervisors; enforce inventory.

11 - In charge of doing fiscal year count and end of grant inventory for assets with coordination of Asset officer
12 - Ensure all assets are tagged
13 - Track all junked/sold equipment through end-of-life cycle
14 – work with Asset officer on Track and record locations of all inventoried assets to the greatest extent possible
15 - Assist with the Transportation Officer For moving organization assets where needed
16 - Keep a clear follow up and clear flow of documentation related to Asset Equipment
17 - Any other duties as required delegated by Asset officer and SC Manager
• Approximately 1-2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in logistics, preferably in managing Assets.
• Institution or University degree.
• Previous experience in an emergency or conflict-afflicted setting is required.
• Strong computer competency with word processing, Excel, Outlookspreadsheets, databases, and other IT skills.

Language/Travel:
• Arabic is required and English is preferred.
• Travel: 40% to field sites in all IRC NES sites as well as attending workshops and meetings.
