Position Summary
The Junior Engineer will support the Production Department, reporting directly to the Production Manager, with a strong focus on production data collection, analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement. The position requires close interaction with field operators, processing plants, main stations, substations, and the Production Management team.
A major responsibility of this role will be to strengthen the quality and efficiency of Production Department reporting.
· The Junior Production Engineer will coordinate the collection of field production information, verify and analyze the data, consolidate information from the various facilities, and produce a reliable Daily Production and Accounting Report.
· The role will contribute to developing better data organization, standardized reporting formats, improved data validation, automation where practical, and clear presentation of key production information.
· The ideal candidate combines strong IT and analytical capability with a practical operational mindset and is comfortable working closely with field personnel.
· Depending on performance, aptitude, and individual interests, the candidate may gain experience in areas such as Operations, Engineering, IT, Planning, SCM, and other technical disciplines.
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, programming and other data-processing and reporting applications.
· Ability to collect, validate, consolidate, and analyze production data from multiple field locations and processing facilities.
· Ability to prepare complex, accurate, and timely production reports, including the Daily Production Report and production accounting.
· Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies, trends, production losses, and inconsistencies in reported data.
· Ability to improve reporting systems, formats, data quality, and efficiency.
