
The Education Assistant supports the day-to-day implementation of education activities in field locations, ensuring that learning centers and supported schools operate smoothly and that children receive quality education services. The role involves close collaboration with facilitators, school personnel, and community members to monitor attendance, ensure child protection, and maintain an engaging and safe learning environment. The assistant is also responsible for collecting data, documenting activities, and supporting outreach and follow-up with learners and caregivers.
Strong understanding of quality standards in humanitarian programming, including safeguarding.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organization and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
Capacity to thrive in a challenging and evolving humanitarian work environment, often under pressure.
