
The CPIMS Assistant will support the implementation, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS), with a primary focus on PREMIERO and I-FORM tools and ensuring high quality, confidential, and timely management of Child Protection (CP) and Protection/PSS data. The role will work closely with Case Management teams and report directly to the Case Management Manager, with technical guidance and oversight from the IM Manager A. CPIMS / PREMIERO/ IFORM System Support • Support the day-to-day operation of PREMIERO and IFORM, including oversee the data entry, data cleaning, validation, and troubleshooting. • Ensure timely and accurate input of all case management data according to CPIMS standards and organizational protocols. • Maintain user accounts, access rights, and support field teams with system navigation and queries. • Monitor system performance and identify data inconsistencies, reporting them to the IM Manager for corrective action. B. Protection Data Management • Clean, organise, and store protection and PSS activity data in line with IM procedures and confidentiality protocols. • Collaborate with Case Management teams to verify completeness and accuracy of case files and service documentation. • Generate regular statistical reports, dashboards, and analysis for internal use and donor reporting. • Assist with standardizing and maintaining protection data collection tools, forms, and templates. C. Quality Assurance & Compliance • Ensure compliance with global Child Protection Information Management standards, including data protection and safeguarding. • Support internal data audits and quality assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information, following data protection policies. D. Capacity Building & Technical Support • Provide on-the-job training and technical support to case assistant on the use of CPIMS/PREMIERO, data collection tools, or any relevant matter. • Assist in developing training materials, guidance notes, and manuals related to information management. E. Coordination & Communication • Work collaboratively with Case Management and Protection teams to ensure smooth data flow and accurate case documentation. • Participate in internal IM/CP meetings and contribute to improving data processes. • Liaise with the IM Manager on technical matters, challenges, and system improvements. F. Other Duties • Support any other information management related tasks assigned by the IM Manager. • Contribute to operational tasks as needed in coordination with the Case Management Manager. • Assist in preparing and submitting monthly ActivityInfo reports to the clusters. Person specification:
• University degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field in information management or software engineering.
• Ability to use Microsoft office programs, especially Excel, Access and word.
• Experience in using digital data collection tools (Iformbuilder, Kobo, ODK)
• Previous experience in data management, information management, or database systems (preferably in protection/CP).
• Experience with CPIMS, CPIMS+/PREMIERO, or similar case management systems is an asset.
• Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, or humanitarian settings is preferred.
• Willingness to be flexible and work long hours when required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to remain calm and work well under pressure.
• Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and humanitarian principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
