NESCO is expanding its pool of qualified experts and consultants to support upcoming consultancy assignments and training programs across multiple sectors in Northeast Syria.
We invite experienced sectoral professionals, consultants, and trainers to join our Expert Roster and collaborate with us on assignments for leading INGOs, UN agencies, and local organizations, as well as to deliver technical trainings and capacity-building sessions at NESCO’s Training Centers across NES.
We are looking for experts in the following areas:
- Early Recovery and Livelihoods (ERL)
- Agriculture and Agroecology
- Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
- Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL)
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
- Small and Micro-Business Development / Grants
- Gender and Protection
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)
- Community Development and Governance
Selected experts may be engaged for one or more of the following tasks, depending on their expertise and the project scope:
- Conduct technical assessments, evaluations, and sectoral analyses.
- Design and implement monitoring, evaluation, or research frameworks and tools.
- Develop and deliver technical trainings, workshops, and capacity-building programs at NESCO Centers or partner locations.
- Provide advisory and technical guidance to program teams, institutions, and partners.
- Draft analytical reports, evaluation findings, and actionable recommendations.
- Support the design of project proposals, concept notes, and strategies.
- Coordinate effectively with NESCO’s team and partner organizations to ensure quality outcomes.
- Proven experience in project implementation, evaluation, or research within humanitarian and development contexts.
- Strong technical expertise in one or more of the listed sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering trainings or capacity-building sessions for NGOs, community groups, or institutions.
- Ability to develop user-friendly training materials and practical learning tools.
- Excellent analytical, facilitation, and report-writing skills in Arabic and/or English.
- Previous consultancy or advisory experience with NGOs, INGOs, or development agencies (preferred).
