General Work Experience:
The Health Officer in the AFH Health Program (NES) is responsible for supporting health facilities and medical structures, processing purchase requests, and coordinating training logistics. The role also serves as a liaison between the health program and the operational teams, coordinates with the local health committee, maintains proper archiving of health facility tools and documentation, and performs any additional duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure smooth program operations and compliance.

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Health Administrative Officer is expected to undertake the following tasks:

• Assist the Health team in the management of the daily activities of the AFH Health Program in NES, in coordination with the Sr. Health Officer.
• Follow up with the daily and monthly administrative requirements for the health facilities (as per a plan).
• Raise Purchase Requests (PRs) as per the Health Manager requests.
• Track PRs, track the budgets and do action plans, under the supervision of the Health Manager.
• Assist the health team to arrange for the training; booking venues, provide training materials.
• She/He will be the focal point between health program and operation team (Finance, HR and Supply Chain) to follow up payments request, cash advances, contracts and any other administrative issue.
• Develop an archive for health facilities tools and documents.
• Cross-check the used forms and templates between all the facilities.
• Conduct Spot-Check with the Health coordinator on the running costs consumption in each facility.
• Assist the Health coordinator and project coordinator in preparing and updating Health Facility Profile.
• Assist in report writing, translation, and compiling of information and program reports.
• Prepare store releases and inventory reports as required.
• Any other tasks given by Health coordinator and project coordinator.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
• BA degree in (Medicine, Economics, Business administration, Secretary, or related fields).
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Brilliant organization and planning skills.
• Computer skills including a high knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
• Flexible and able to work in a dynamic and diverse environment.
• Good writing skills.
• Ability to travel to Deir-ez-Zor and Hasakah.
• Experience in administration and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Fluency in Arabic language is required, very good English is required.
