The Case Manager - PSS will be responsible for conducting structured and unstructured counseling sessions to vulnerable beneficiaries. The Case Manager - PSS will also refer cases of the group counseling sessions to the case manager, and conduct regular evaluation related to Pre-Post tests to monitor improvement in knowledge and skills.
Implementing of awareness sessions and PSS activities. (structured or unstructured)
Provide one on one counseling sessions for women and girls referred by the caseworkers
Provide group-counseling sessions for women and girls in the field of work as well as in center
Maintain case records according to ethical and safety standards.
Participate in case review meetings.
Participate in the Case management task force meetings.
Assist in development of referral networks between partners implementing GBV and implementation of referral pathways.
Implementing of PSS/GBV awareness sessions.
Conducting open days and campaigns related to psychological wellbeing.
Monitoring psychological wellbeing knowledge improvement through Pre-Post tests and surveys.
Conducting FGDs with targeted vulnerable beneficiaries to assess general protection needs.
Identifying and referring cases to case workers.
Working with communities to identify and address their PSS needs.
Researching topics related to international open days and campaigns.
Coordinating with other PSS staff and stakeholders to ensure that PSS services are accessible and inclusive.
Designing and preparing materials on PSS to be utilized during activity implementation.
Providing technical support to PSS field staff when required
Ensuring protection mainstreaming policies are followed and implemented
Promoting PSEA policies "Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse" among targeted beneficiaries.
Preparing and delivering weekly/monthly reports to the Protection Team Supervisor when needed.
Contributing positively in the work environment.
All other volunteering tasks might be required to improve the working process.
Essentials
Bachelor Degree in Counseling Psychology or Psychology or relevant field is a minimum requirement.
Previous experience is related to group sessions with all ages.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment in helping others and good judgment.
Desirable
Previous experience with non-profit organizations.
Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
Time Management skills.
Commitment to the vision, mission, values, principles, and aims of GOPA-DERD.
Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced work environment.
