Responsible for overall
communications with the local authorities at both District and Governorate/Provincial levels and sub-levels and Asayesh and may provide administrative support as well as security and human resources assistance whenever necessary.
1. Coordination with Authorities:
• Serve as the main point of contact between the organization and local authorities (e.g., district, governorate, and security forces like Asayesh).
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and legal frameworks.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from government bodies for humanitarian operations.
2. Facilitate Communication:
• Act as a bridge between the organization and external stakeholders, such as other NGOs, international agencies, and government officials.
• Maintain strong relationships with community leaders and local partners to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Report regularly on developments in the region that might impact humanitarian efforts.
3. Support Security Operations:
• Collaborate with security personnel to assess and mitigate risks to the organization’s staff and operations.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and guidelines, providing updates on security situations.
• Coordinate with local authorities on security clearances and movement of personnel.
4. Administrative and Logistical Support:
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing documentation, permits, and reporting.
• Support logistical planning for field activities, including travel arrangements and supply chain management.
• Organize and coordinate meetings with stakeholders, preparing minutes and reports as necessary.
5. Information Gathering and Reporting:
• Collect and analyze information on the local political, social, and security situation that could impact the organization’s projects.
• Share regular updates with the management team to inform decision-making processes.
6. Crisis Management:
• Respond to emergencies or critical incidents in coordination with local authorities and field teams.
• Provide support in evacuation plans or crisis response operations.
1. Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in security, project management, or humanitarian assistance are a plus.
2. Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a liaison role, preferably in humanitarian or non-governmental organizations.
• Experience working with local authorities, security forces, or government entities in conflict-affected areas.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with diverse stakeholders.
