The daily enumerator is responsible for primary data collection for all Blumont interventions as directed. This includes survey administration for assessments, distribution monitoring, post-distribution monitoring and/or any other kind of data collection required by the program director or donor. 

 

Supervisory level: none

Comply with community feedback mechanism procedures in the field, register and report all the received feedback to the MEL Officer, process documentation for all gathered information from the communities.

Data collection and monitoring

  • Collect program monitoring data for Blumont interventions in Northeast Syria.
  • Monitoring assignments will be assigned to each daily enumerator by the MEL officer or Sr. MEL officer and can include:
    • Survey data collected from Blumont beneficiaries, camp residents and community members.
    • Site observation data recorded through geo-tag and timestamp embedded photographs.
  • Collect all monitoring data electronically using a smartphone, in the kobo mobile application
  • Record beneficiary and community feedback as the in-person data collection for the community feedback mechanism. 

Additional job responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the role holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience.

 

 

 

  • Institute diploma (University degree is an advantage) 

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

(Define the experience and skills required for satisfactory job performance, these are in two categories such as ‘essential’ and ‘desirable’)

  • Requires less than 1 year of experience collecting data through a mobile phone application
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic, Kurdish and English are helpful but not required 

 

Success Factors:

  • Ability to travel to all the program areas and any other areas in north and north-east of Syria.

  • Ability to learn quickly on the job
