Overall, Job Objective: The General Practitioner provides comprehensive primary medical care to patients within the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and referral when necessary. They act as a key link between patients and specialists, contributing to health promotion and disease prevention in accordance with the highest medical standards and professional ethics.
Examine patients and diagnose their medical conditions.
o Provide appropriate treatment for common, acute, and chronic medical conditions.
o Monitor patient status, evaluate their response to treatment, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
o Prescribe medications and instruct patients on proper usage and potential side effects.
o Identify cases requiring consultation or referral to specialist doctors inside or outside the hospital.
o Coordinate with other medical departments (such as laboratory, radiology, pharmacy) to ensure comprehensive care.
o Provide treatment for children and newborns.
o Assess the condition of neonates and manage natural births.
o Manage all inpatient cases.
o Evaluate surgical and orthopedic patients and request surgeon consultation when needed.
o Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
o Accurately document all examination, diagnosis, treatment details, and clinical observations in patient medical records.
o Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
o Adhere to medical and administrative instructions within the hospital.
o Comply with the highest professional and ethical medical standards.
o Conduct morning rounds for admitted patients and oversee their condition, treatment, and manage evolving cases.
o Operate in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and local health regulations.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized university.
o Valid medical license from the competent authorities in the country.
· Experience:
o 1 years of experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a hospital setting.
o Experience in managing a wide range of medical conditions.
o Strong knowledge of clinical diagnosis, pathology, and pharmacology.
o Good understanding of the basic principles of primary care and preventive medicine.
o Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures.
· Languages:
o Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken).
o Very good knowledge of English is an advantage.

· Excellent ability to accurately assess medical conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and their families, and the healthcare team.
· Ability to make quick and informed decisions under pressure.
· Ability to interact with patients with kindness, respect, and understanding.
· Ability to organize tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
· Proficiency in using basic software and electronic medical record systems.
· Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
