Accountabilities
MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities: 1, Working context and general responsibilities • • Woking place Hassakeh PHCC( where MSF is providing NCD Care, PHCC, and SRH if needed provide gap-fill coverage for other MDs or for other MSF projects activities. • • Work in a complex and sensitive environment, with daily challenges, requiring an ability to work in difficult situations and good communication skills • • Act as SRH focal point at Hassakeh South Clinic, under the supervision of the MTL/SGBV/MWAM
2. SRH service delivery and clinical responsibilities • • Being responsible for the set-up of care pathways and facilities for SRH activities in line with MSF guidelines and MSF standards and procedures • • Provide clinical supervision and technical support to: Antenatal Care (ANC), Postnatal Care (PNC), Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) services • • Ensure quality of care, patient safety, and confidentiality, in line with MSF standards • • Support clinical decision making, case management, and referrals • • Supervise and support midwives and SRH staff through regular on the job supervision • • Maintain Infection Prevention and Control standards
3. Supervision, coaching and capacity building • • Being responsible for training, support and follow-up of the outreach team for SV awareness rais-ing and community engagement • • Contribute to identifying training needs and support the organization of SV/SGBV trainings for MSF health care providers and outreach teams, in close collaboration with the SGBV Activity Manager.Participate in trainings arranged within the medical department or others as required • • Participate in evaluations, quality-improvement activities, and audits to support the project in strengthening the quality of care.. • • Contribute to training, mentoring, and capacity building of medical staff
4. Data management, documentation and reporting • • Ensure proper medical documentation, data collection, and reporting (registers, databases, indicators) • • Ensure relevant data is captured using the SV data tool, stored, and analyzed with ensured confi-dentiality, • • Ensure reporting and seek support from the line manager on any SRH program related and medi-cal subjects to ensure better understanding and case management • • Report regularly to the MTL on SRH activities, challenges, and needs
5. Medical supply • • Monitors and report the needs and use of medical supplies (drugs & mateirals) in close collaboration with line manger and the medical team. • • Ensure implementation of MSF SRH protocols, guidelines, and policies
6, Interdepartmental coordination and collaboration • • Coordinate with other medical and support departments as required • • Organise and lead regular SGBV committee meetings • • contribute inputs and support MTL on the identification of health needs and barriers to access and support the planning of activities to meet these needs and mitigate barriers |
Requirements | |
• Medical Doctor degree from a recognized institution • Desirable: Diploma or postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology |

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Medical Doctor (experience gained during medical training can be considered) Desirable experience in one or more of the following areas: Sexual and Re-productive Health, Public Health, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, In-fectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine, and SV experience Previous MSF experience as an SRH Medical Doctor or SRH Supervisor is considered an asset The role is open to female candidates, as required. |
