
· Follow up the day-to-day activities in the field in targeted locations.
· Participate in the rapid needs assessments, Ranking exercise, market assessment, as required.
· Carry out all program activities (Cash, VSLA, Agricultural kits, Micro Grant MPCA ... etc) in line with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SoP). Immediately flag with FSL Officer on any deviation from SoPs.
· With guidance from FSL Officer, work with FSL team and Incentive volunteers to complete program implementation to a high quality and in a timely manner.
· Conduct community sensitizations and awareness raising including but not limited (community meeting, local authorities’ approval).
· Coordinate with local stockholders and partners.
· Participate in the beneficiary registration, verification and selection process
· Supervise the Incentive volunteers to organize effective implementation and to use correct tools during the implementation process.
· Work on the paperwork’s for Incentive volunteers to meet Minimums.
· Support in preparation of distribution reports with correct data to FSL Officer timely manner.
· Conduct training sessions for VSLA groups member and SC incentive volunteers and support FSL officer to development FSL training materials.
· Implement activities timely manner. Flag with FSL Officer on challenges/bottlenecks for program activities to solve them in advance all type of data collection (qualitative and quantitative such in Market assessment and Mapping.
· Support in the field level information needed for internal and external reports in a timely manner in collaboration with relevant staff.
· Closely work relations with MEAL team to ensure MEAL activities are carried out along with program activities timely. For eg – inform MEAL team in advance for planned distributions to ensure MEAL staff parti
· Assist in the formation of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) groups within the community, ensuring that all members are properly trained and that the groups are operating effectively.
· Support VSLA groups with technical training, focusing on financial literacy, savings management, and income-generating activities.
· Monitor the progress of VSLA groups, providing guidance and support to ensure their sustainability and success.
· Support the implementation of Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) for households identified as severely food insecure.
· Assist in the distribution of cash for nutrition top-ups, ensuring that targeted households receive the correct amount and that all transactions are recorded accurately.
· Work with incentive volunteers to ensure effective delivery of cash assistance and nutrition programs, providing training and oversight as needed.
· Organize and participate in capacity-building activities for incentive volunteers and community members, focusing on improving their skills and knowledge in livelihoods and food security.
· Facilitate technical training sessions for beneficiary groups, ensuring the content is relevant and practical for their needs.
· Support FSL Officer in developing training materials and coordinating training schedules.
· Coordinate the development and distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials related to livelihood and food security activities.
· Engage with the community to promote understanding and participation in livelihood and food security programs, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
· Ensure that all IEC materials are culturally appropriate and accessible to the target audience.
· Supervise and task the Incentive Volunteers on the agreed periodic work-plan.
· Ensure that all incentive Volunteers receive formal orientation on mandatory SCI policies (CSG, Anti-Harassment, CoC etc) before they are engaged in work and periodic refreshers.
· Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering and any relevant field.
· Experience working with non-governmental organizations for 1-2 years.
· Experience in dealing with cash and FSL of no less than one year, as he/she must demonstrate sufficient understanding of the financial vouchers project (food and in-kind).
· Experience in working in NE Syria communities especially rural area, is preferable
· Strong communication skills with employees and diplomatic with beneficiaries and stakeholders in the areas covered by the activities.
· He/she has the ability to manage the team of incentive volunteers and distribute tasks.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and solve problems in a difficult environment.
· He/she must have the skill to collect and maintain distribution information on paper and electronically.
· Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
· Participate in continuous field visits and bear the pressure of working long hours.
· Experience in dealing with providers contracted by Save the Children and providing updates in a professional manner.
· Experience in identifying market variables and their requirements and providing periodic updates to the supervisor.
· Excellent experience and/or understanding of children’s rights and child protection.
· Strong understanding of the situation of children (girls and boys) in rural and urban communities.
· Excellent understanding of the complexity of local governance structures in NE Syria and other local stakeholders.
