Under the supervision of the Log Coordinator, and in technical link with the Admin coordinator/Office manager, the housekeeper will be responsible to:
ü Cleaning the GH/ office/warehouse and terraces according to establish program
ü Identify needs in terms of maintenance of the GH/Office/Warehouse (cleaning items, track consumption, small maintenance of the building)
ü Purchase and prepare food for the MDM team.
I. TASKS DESCRIPTION:
Cleaning
- Cleaning the GH/ office/warehouse and terraces according to establish program
- Program will be agreed upon the start, and will include daily cleaning and weekly and monthly regular cleaning.
- Keeping warehouse in good conditions to avoid stagnant water and development of other insects or animals
- Bringing out trash every day
Identify needs
- Ensure there is stock of needed materials (prepare monthly request)
- Track consumption
Cooking
- Prepare a regular menu for the week
- Supply the food and arrange costs with the team
- Cook the food
· Be flexible in performing his/her duties.
· Perform other additional duties on request
· Inform immediately the security focal point in case of any security problem in the field
· Filling the water dispensers
Because of the emergency relief nature of MDM’s work, working hours may be irregular and workers/service providers/professionals are expected to be flexible in their approach to working hours under emergency conditions. MDM is a humanitarian organization, involved in emergency, post-emergency and development programs around the world.
