
The Identification and Registration Assistant is responsible for carrying out all identification, verification, and registration activities for new arrivals at the IDP sites, as well as maintaining and updating population databases. S/he ensures data accuracy and confidentiality, supports daily data validation for program activities, and contributes to camp management reporting. The assistant coordinates with relevant program teams to resolve data discrepancies and supports distribution planning and service mapping. The role also involves overseeing documentation and contracts related to casual laborers and addressing related complaints. S/he collaborates closely with CCCM and protection teams to prioritize vulnerable cases, ensure proper referrals, and support departure operations. The assistant must be ready to travel across sites to carry out assigned tasks and is expected to uphold a high standard of ethical and professional conduct that reflects positively on Blumont’s humanitarian mission
Supervisory level: This position reports to Data Management Officer
• Conduct comprehensive identification, verification, and registration of all new arrivals to the IDP sites.
• To update and maintain the population database.
• To monitor the IDPs movement and update the IDP movement tracker on daily basis.
• To prepare and print ration cards for the IDPs on their sites.
• Conduct verification visits for any IDPs movement.
• Review and verify documentation provided by local authority for the IDPs movement.
• Support supervisor in preparing the distribution lists.
• To assist supervisor in preparing accurate and timely data for camp management reporting, including statistics, age breakdowns, and 4Ws.
• Collect and provide data for the service map and activity calendar.
• Conduct daily data validation for different program activities and ensure accuracy between the archived documents and activity trackers.
• Coordinate with respective program staff to identify and discuss any discrepancy in data.
• Cross check and validate the activity trackers on a daily basis.
• Ensure confidentiality of all information related to the identification database and adhere to relevant data protection guidelines at all times.
• Prioritize vulnerable cases during the identification process and provide appropriate support.
• Support departure operations by ensuring all identification-related requirements are met for site residents.
• Be ready and willing to travel to any required locations to support identification activities across all sites.
• Maintain and regularly update the database of casual laborers.
• Prepare and maintain the documentation for the daily laborers contract
• Provide response to complaints related to daily laborers and data department.
• Uphold a professional and ethical standard of conduct that reflects positively on Blumont and does not compromise its humanitarian mission.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
· Diploma Certificate in a related field.
Less than 1 year of NGOs work experience in the same field or another related field.
Proven abilities to work with community and IDPs.
Experience working with NGOs and knowledge of humanitarian standards and code of conduct.
Language skills: good knowledge of English and fluency in Arabic language skills are required.
Good organizational skills and ability to analyses information.
