
The site engineer is responsible for leading construction and engineering activities at the field level in the assigned intervention area and preparing the specifications, surveys, tests, and monitoring in a timely manner. Conduct site visits during the implementation of the program in the assigned areas.
Supervisory level :

Manage the engineering work for different projects.
Lead and track the work being performed by the implementing partners, ensuring that the work being performed is according to the contract, specifications, drawings, and instructions
Develop specifications, drawings, SoWs, and bill of quantities for projects.
Direct supervision for the implementation of the engineering works.
Participate in identifying, analyzing, and resolving work challenges.
Daily and weekly reporting, including progress reports, narrative reports and completion of work reports.
Attend regular Senior Staff meetings when required by the line manager.
Enforce and supervise safety regulations on the project site.
Conduct all required tests and surveys, using various engineering tools and equipment (e.g. slump test, Schmidt Hammer, Total station, Level) to ensure compliance with quality.
Supervise, providing guidance and support to assistant engineer to follow up on the daily construction and engineering works.
Preparing required documents and archiving documents of the construction projects.
Any other duties assigned by the line manager.
B.Sc. in Engineering or in a related field (Preferably civil or construction).
Minimum 4 year of related experience (prefer at least 5 years of working experience in engineering. )
Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
Good experience in the usage of computer skills and office software packages (Word, AutoCAD, Excel and Outlook).
Knowledge of the practical applications of construction engineering standards.
Ability to solve daily problems, interpreting a variety of instructions and demonstrating good teambuilding skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical engineering.
Motivated, knowledgeable with positive communication skills.
Pro-active and helpful attitude, ready to take on variety of new tasks; with the ability to multi-task; Ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and team skills; and capable of working collaboratively with team members to achieve objectives.
