Accountabilities: - Planning vehicles movements, tracking individual trips, and ensuring implementation of security measures
- Tracking consumption of supplies, fuel, lubricants, used in different facilities (office, house, store, etc.).
- Checking the maintenance of the various open spaces (gardens, courtyards...) and ensuring that domestic waste is correctly discarded
- Checking and ensuring the maintenance of the organization premises and facilities, as well as the general water supply, electrical, walls, ceilings ect. and security conditions. In this sense, making inspection visits to assess the rehabilitation needs of facilities.
- Performing maintenance of logistics equipment for cold chain, energy, IT and radio communications, in particular:
- Inventories and the reallocation of equipment.
- Renewing the authorization to use radio material with local authorities.
- Checking the quality of the work carried out on generators and electrical installations.
- Preparing orders for his sector activity, do the follow-up, and checking their proper reception and state.
- Carrying out local purchases and ensuring that the line manager is aware of any problems linked to the quality or availability of the items to be purchased.
- Participating in trainings at the request of the line manager
- Assisting Logistic Manager to ensure safety and security conditions by conducting random inspections and assessing rehabilitation needs, including maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of working areas
- Under guidance of log team and support of and collaboration with Ops, monitor security/safety and context situations in the camp and immediately report to the Security Focal Point (SFP) and OPS team or Logistic Supervisor and Manager any incident, unconducive safety situation in the clinics or the organization facilities in Alhol camp.
- Implement SOPs for each logistic expertise, including monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning including relevant annual refresher sessions to watchmen and other the organization staff based on Applied Security Assessment Tools (ASAT) findings.
- Support and accompany Mobile Clinic (MC) and Home Base Care (HBC) team visits in the annexes and the main camp areas as needed.
- Prior to visit and conduct of MC in the camp, the officer ensures the security/safety situation is assessed or verified and report any context-related situations to the SFP, relevant supervisor and Ops team.
- Assisting Logistic Supervisor in carrying out maintenances of the organization premises and facilities in Al Hol Camp in The Annex, Phase 1, Phase 5 and RO Plant and Borehole Site
- Implement preventive maintenance calendar of power & energy equipment (generators and battery), electrical installations, plumbing, drainage, cold chain, ICT & radio communication, biomedical equipment responsibility for automotive mechanics, the organization premises and facilities in in Al Hol Camp in The Annex, Phase 1, Phase 5 and RO Plant and Borehole Site
- Respond to Job Requests (JRs), manage orders for sector activities, and check the proper reception and state of items.
- Collaborate with the Logistic Supervisor to ensure local purchases align with Project Implementation/Procurement Planning, addressing any issues and ensuring quality and availability.
- Contribute to weekly updates, monthly reporting, or the logistic reporting system (LRS) as required, and cover gaps during the absence of the Logistic Supervisor as part of his/her exposure for individual development.
- The above-mentioned activities and responsibilities are not exhaustive to. Staff may be assign additional or ad-hoc responsibilities or tasks as required, i.e.: to be a gap filler in absence of log supervisor, flexible to work longer hours and also on the weekends and public holidays on request of Log Supervisor or Log Manager, with on specific situation, limited time and clear responsibility-when needed.
