• Security: reporting any concerning issue, in order to improve risk working conditions and to ensure staff’s full
adherence to security rules and protocols.
• Logistics: coordination of logistics activities in Al Bukamal, upon delegation from LTL.
The position will based in Al Bukamal, and MSF is looking for an employee who is from the Deir ez-Zor
governorate. Its objective is to support the set-up and running of MSF activites in Al Bukamal.
Security
• Security Focal Point in Al Bukamal
• Close context-monitoring and analysis for Al Bukamal Area
Logistics
• Direct supervision of log activities in Abu Kamal
• Responsible for the management of the Abu Kamal sub-base
Representation:
• When delegated by Project Coordinator, representing MSF and defending its interests before local
authorities and local NGO’s.
Education • University degree desirable
• Degree in Project Management or HR Management desirable
Experience
• Essential previous experience of at least two years required in the field of humanitarian aid
with MSF or other NGOs.
• Essential experience in security management
Language • Mission language essential.
Knowledge • Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
