
In preparation for future humanitarian and development programmes across Syria, Action for Humanity (AFH) is establishing a roster of qualified and experienced professionals.
This initiative aims to identify competent candidates in advance and build a reliable talent pool that will enable AFH to respond efficiently to future recruitment needs and mobilise skilled teams when new programmes and funding opportunities arise.
Shortlisted applicants will undergo the relevant technical assessments and selection checks. Candidates who successfully complete the process will be included in AFH’s talent roster and may be considered for suitable positions based on future programme requirements, location, experience and the availability of funding.
Inclusion in the roster does not constitute an immediate offer or guarantee of employment. However, roster members may be prioritised for consideration when relevant vacancies become available.

KEY Responsibilities:
Report to Supply chain coordinator and Senior SC Officer and perform tasks set as required
Manag the fleet for all the projects and arrange the movement plans according to the program needs, manage the drivers and coordinate the transportation tasks, check and examine the vehicles’ ability and readiness for movements, control the attendance sheet and the car logs for the drivers
Manage the administration needs in the office and coordinate with all the department, Manage the office store and register all in and out supply, Prepare the PR for the quarter need accordingly
Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents
Sorting incoming mail and courier deliveries for distribution also checking accuracy of office bill calculations, coding, and data, and supply
Prepare and send outgoing mail and courier parcels
Forward incoming general e-mails to the appropriate staff member
Coordinate with supply chain Department to manage and oversees the staff and visitor guesthouse maintenance and relationship with landlords etc as required and follow up when needed
Purchase, receive and store the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available
Code and file material according to the established procedures
Update and ensure the accuracy of the organization's databases
Back-up electronic files using proper procedures
Provide secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff
Make travel arrangements and prepare travel documentation as required for staff and Syria Relief visitors
Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment
Managing all secretarial tasks of the office needs like
Arrangement of all internal meetings and Coordination between departments

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school or Diploma in business management or accounting or economy or any logistics related field preferred but not required
General Work Experience:
One year's experience in general office secretarial or administrative tasks In general, able to support operations by assisting, helping, organizing and sharing in implementing administrative systems and monitoring the work progress

Languages:
Good in English (Writing-Reading-Speaking)
Good in Arabic (Writing-Reading-Speaking)
Computing:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, outlook)
Good time management
Admin tasks Management

Effective at negotiation and persuasion
Abilities:
To maintain and manage fleet systems
To maintain and manage admin ordering systems
