KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Implementation & Field Support
Support the day-to-day implementation of project activities in line with approved work plans and guidance from the Project Coordinator.
Conduct regular field follow-up of hospital rehabilitation works and report on progress, challenges, and gaps.
Ensure activities are implemented according to agreed timelines, technical specifications, and quality standards.
Field Monitoring & Coordination
Carry out regular site visits to project locations and prepare field visit reports.
Coordinate on a daily basis with hospital management, contractors, suppliers, and technical staff at the sites.
Support the organization of coordination meetings and site-level follow-up sessions.
Procurement & Supply Support
Support procurement processes related to medical equipment, devices, medicines, and medical supplies by preparing technical requests and required documentation.
Follow up on delivery, installation, and initial handover of procured items.
Verify that delivered items comply with approved specifications and quality standards.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare regular activity, weekly, and monthly reports and submit them to the Project Coordinator.
Maintain organized project documentation, including site reports, meeting minutes, and procurement-related records.
Contribute to narrative and activity reporting as required.
Compliance, Quality & Safeguarding
Ensure compliance with Action for Humanity policies, donor requirements, and internal procedures during implementation.
Support the application of quality assurance, safety, and safeguarding standards at project sites.
Immediately report any risks, delays, incidents, or non-compliance issues to the Project Coordinator.
Other Duties
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator or Project Manager relevant to the position.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project implementation or field coordination, preferably in health or infrastructure-related projects.
Experience in field monitoring and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Good reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to humanitarian principles, safeguarding, and organizational values.
Desirable:
Previous experience in hospital rehabilitation or health infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with procurement and supply processes, particularly medical equipment and supplies.
Experience working with INGOs or donor-funded projects.
Experience working in conflict-affected or early recovery contexts.
