The following describes the specific responsibilities and the required skills, competencies and qualifications/ experience for the position of Organization’s shelter Daily based in Al Hole camp. Those holding the position of Organization shelter Daily Worker will work with Organization in conducting beneficiary registration, distributions, PDM.
The duties and responsibilities of the field enumerator are as follows:
Pre-Enumeration duties:
- Attend enumerators’ training.
- Receive enumeration materials and equipment from the Distribution Officer.
Enumeration duties:
- Conduct interviews with respondents (Registration, PDM and Distribution).
- Distribute humanitarian aid to the beneficiaries.
- Record responses as instructed.
- Verifies systematically if all questions have been asked and that the recorded answers are clear and legible.
- Comply with the requirements necessary for conducting a successful interview.
- Returns, if necessary, to the Household for incomplete information.
- Report on the number of surveys collected and any unusual situations to the officer on daily basis.
- Ensure that the enumerator checklist is complete.
- Ensure that all questionnaires and equipment are accounted for.
- Turn over all literature and materials used in the survey to the team leader.
- Follow confidentiality and security procedures to ensure respondent privacy is protected.
- Submit completed tasks and daily report to the team supervisor and discuss daily development.
Other duties:
- Adherence to working hours.
- Respect and abide by humanitarian principles.
- Complete 8 hrs. of work per day.
- Complete a minimum number of households’ visits per day (as required).
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School certificate and bachelor’s degree is preferable.
- Comfortable working within a large team.
- Comfortable in using Android Tablets and apps.
- Possess good command of the Kurdish and Arabic languages.
- Possess good communication skills.
