
Dispensing medications: dispensing prescribed medications to patients according to doctors’ instructions and supervising appropriate doses.
• Guidance on medication: Explain medicines doses and how to use them for the patients in a simple way.
• Rational medication guidance: Providing rational guidance about medications and treatments based on careful medical evaluation.
• Inventory management: Manage the inventory in the primary health care center pharmacy and monitor it carefully.
• Receiving medications and medical supplies: Receiving and checking necessary medications and medical supplies at the clinic.
• Medication inventory: Conduct a periodic and accurate inventory of medications in the pharmacy.
• Cooperation with doctors: Close cooperation with doctors at the center to meet the needs of medicines and consumables.
• Pharmacy Records: Maintain pharmacy records and prescriptions and prepare them for sending to the logistics warehouse.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety: Ensure that medications are properly organized and stored, secured, and placed in a specific and easily accessible manner.
• Refrigerator maintenance: Regularly monitor the condition of the refrigerator in the pharmacy and report any problem to the logistics department.
Reports:
Periodic Reports: Submit regular reports on pharmaceutical activities to the line manager upon request.
Other duties:
• Additional work: Perform any additional tasks related to the work required by the supervisor.
Pharmacy Technician Certification: The candidate must have a recognized certification in the field of pharmacy technician.
• At least two years of experience in the same field
• Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, doctors and healthcare team.
• Flexibility and ability to deal with pressure: The ability to work in a stressful environment with changing times and deal effectively with time pressures.
• Knowledge of Laws and Regulations: Good understanding of and adherence to laws and regulations related to the distribution and dispensing of medications.
• Computer skills: Ability to use a computer to manage pharmacy records and electronic communication.
• Attention to detail: Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure medications are dispensed correctly.
