The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff, goods, and equipment to various locations within NortheastSyria. The ideal candidate will ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition and comply with all road safety regulations
Safely operate and drive the van H1 to transport personnel, supplies, and equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle, including checking oil, water, brakes, tires, and other fluids.
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to the Fleet Officer.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Maintain accurate records of KM, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with UPP policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience, preferably in a similar role within an NGO or humanitarian context.
• The candidate should be from and living in Hasakah City.
• Familiarity with the geography, roads, and routes of North East Syria.
• Strong communications skills (Arabic and Kurdish are essential, and English is a plus).
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
• White and silver colors are essential, and minimum model is 2016
