• Monitor the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.

• Create a database and maintain information about the suppliers, vendors and purchased items.

• Responsible for the timely delivery of services/supplies.

 

  • Daily process of all logistics and procurement aspects.
  • Update PR tracker on regular basis.
  • Update Asset/inventory register tracker on regular basis.
  • Monitor and Check drivers’ logbooks on weekly basis.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure promote and accurate delivery of goods and services and received in good condition as per invoices, delivery notes and packing lists.
  • Market assessment through quotations whenever required.
  • Update the price catalogue, supplier list and contract follow up
  • Perform purchase activities as per SAMS procurement procedures
  • Receiving of supplier and maintaining stock as per stock procedures
  • Complete the payment packages and submit it to finance department for processing.
  • Weekly reconciliation of purchase files with the cashier for payment
  • Periodic physical inventory of stock
  • Maintain all purchase files in an orderly manner.
  • Submitting monthly report (procurement tracker, physical inventory, other needed
  • Reports) to line manager by monthly basis
  • Ensure that all goods received are recorded, stored, and allocated in accordance with the established procedures.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods and supplies to field sites.
  • Assist in managing the fuel supply in the area and update the fuel tracker daily
  • Ensure that SAMS procurement guidelines are applied at all times for all procurements
  • Contribute to the accuracy of the local supplier database
  • Any other tasks requested by line manager.

 

 



 

Mandatory Qualifications required

  • Years of experience: 2 years of work experience in relevant fields, preferably within NGOs sector.
  • Professional diploma or university degree in a Logistics field.
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Logistics procedures.

 

Languages

  • Arabic : Level---- Fluent

  • English: Level---- Good

     

Competencies:

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Good inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with communities and participants.
  • Ability and willingness to travel around the country as required.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email applications.

The salary will be defined regarding the SAMS’s Office salary scale on-going.
